Fellowship Trained, Mohs Surgeon
Dr. Nayyar completed a one-year fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. She has trained extensively in the treatment and management of high-risk skin cancers as well as advanced dermatologic laser and cosmetic procedures. She takes pride in achieving exceptionally elegant results for both her surgical and cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Nayyar attended Temple University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, New York. She was accepted into the prestigious Clinical Research Training program at the world renowned National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. While at NIH, she performed cutting edge research on rare genetic diseases that predispose people to skin cancer at an early age. After a dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate, she completed her training with a dermatologic surgery fellowship at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel Health System.
Dr. Nayyar’s work has been published widely in scientific journals, and she has presented at numerous national meetings, sharing her passion for providing the highest quality of care for each and every patient she sees and advancing the field of Mohs micrographic surgery.
