Brittany Hearn, DO

Brittany Hearn

Dr. Hearn is a board certified dermatologist who grew up on the east coast of Florida and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology at Florida State University. She then went on to obtain her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee and graduated with high honors as the salutatorian of her class.
She completed her internship at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Florida and her dermatology residency at Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey. Dr. Hearn served as the chief resident during her final year of residency where she was published into numerous peer-reviewed journals. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and Women’s Dermatologic Society. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

During her training, Dr. Hearn worked at Moffitt Cancer Center in the cutaneous oncology department. She conducted research and evaluated patients with advanced cutaneous malignancies, with a focus on malignant melanoma. This experience led to Dr. Hearn’s increased interest in skin cancer prevention, detection, and management.

Dr. Hearn enjoys all areas of dermatology including medical, surgical, and cosmetics and has experience treating pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. She is also enthusiastic about cosmetic dermatology with a special interest in neurotoxins and fillers. Dr. Hearn lives in South Tampa with her husband and children. They enjoy outdoor activities such as bike riding, playing with their Chihuahua, and paddle boarding (with sunscreen!)
