Lisa Garner, MD


Dr. Lisa Garner, FAAD, received her Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Pharmacy from the University of Houston and her Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Garner completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

Dr. Garner has worked with many professional dermatology societies including serving on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology (peer elected) as well as serving as vice president of the AAD from 2013 to 2014. She has served as president of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, held multiple leadership positions with the Texas Dermatology Society and has supported the Dermatology Foundation philanthropic organization for many years.

Dr. Garner has a special interest in allergic contact dermatitis with extensive knowledge and experience in customized patch testing. We are very excited to offer this specialized service to the South Tampa area.
